Isabelle Caulfield
Senior Occupational Therapist & Clinical Lead
Meet Isabelle, our Senior Occupational Therapist and Clinical Lead!
Isabelle is warm, curious and deeply grounded in her work, bringing a genuine respect for people’s lived experiences to every session.
She grew up in a remote village in Botswana-Africa, where community, resourcefulness and connection shaped her belief that therapy should always be practical, empowering and person-centred.
With years of experience working across rural, regional and remote areas of Australia and New Zealand, Isabelle supports people of all ages with a wide range of needs. From emotional regulation and sensory processing to assistive technology and navigating the NDIS, her approach is thoughtful, evidence-based and rooted in real life.
She’s particularly skilled in Functional Capacity Assessments, complex disability and trauma-informed practice and works flexibly across both community and telehealth settings.
Beyond her clinical work, Isabelle plays a key leadership role at Well Balanced Care – mentoring students, guiding new graduates and helping shape a team culture that is supportive, collaborative and values-driven. She’s known for her ability to connect with people, advocate effectively and her unwavering commitment to creating meaningful impact, especially in communities where support is needed most.
