Robert Wilesmith is a Psychologist with experience working with individuals within various settings, including disabilities, community health, and private practice. Robert has the following special interests in supporting:

  • Individuals who have experienced trauma
  • Anxiety, Depression and Stress
  • First Nations communities and individuals
  • Neurodivergence (Autism and ADHD)
  • LGBTIQA+
  • First Responders
  • Men’s health and wellbeing

Robert provides a person-centred approach, being trauma-informed and neurodivergent affirming. Robert has experience supporting individuals through one-on-one, dyadic and systemically.  Willing to help work with individuals and families.

Robert provides therapy using several modalities depending on your desired outcome. These include:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR)
